“Pool the strength of ROCAR with culture. Demonstrate the spirit of BAIC with culture. We are ROCARers of the new era!” On 30th Oct., 2020, the releasing ceremony of new corporate culture concepts of ROCAR started with a group poetry recitation of Pool the Strength of ROCAR.
Pool the Strength of ROCAR not only sums up the development of ROCAR, but also pools the strength for making new progress.
On 30th Oct., ROCAR held the releasing ceremony of new corporate culture concepts and, the final recitation match of Most Beautiful ROCARer. Party leaders of ROCAR, middle management and corporate delegates of ROCAR, 60 people in total, took part in the event. Zhang Jieying, deputy Party secretary and chairman of Labor Union chaired the releasing ceremony.
Autumn is a season of harvest and gives promise of rebirth. From the project initiation of corporate culture building in April, through the great discussion of Freeing minds, Reform and Transformation, to the releasing of new corporate culture concepts of ROCAR, the corporate culture building has entered the season of harvest and embarked on the new stage of publicity, promotion and implementation. In promoting corporate culture building, 13 years’ journey of the company has been sorted out, and cultural traits of ROCAR and startup stories have been summarized. At the same time, group culture concepts of the Group, culture connotation of BAIC have been inherited and new culture concepts more suited to company development have been summarized.
On the releasing ceremony, New Corporate Culture Concepts of ROCAR was jointly launched by Liu Yi, secretary of the Party committee and chairman of ROCAR, Zhang Zhengye, deputy secretary of the Party committee and general manager of ROCAR, Zhang Jieying, deputy secretary of the Party committee and chairman of Labor Union, Zhao Yue, secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection and Sun Hongyu, deputy general manager.
The releasing of New Corporate Culture Concepts of ROCAR indicates ROCAR has unified thoughts and reached consensus on Making Success and Accomplishing Oneself, which will certainly motivate staff and drive the rapid growth of ROCAR.
New Corporate Culture Concepts of ROCAR pools the painstaking efforts and wisdom of the leaders and staff of ROCAR. On the releasing ceremony, these new concepts were explained by Tian Ding, head of Party Committee Work Department and human resource director.
On the ceremony, company leaders awarded company representatives with Corporate Culture Manual of ROCAR.
Whether at the hard stage of entrepreneurship or the critical moment of transformation, model staff daring to fight are the backbone of ROCAR’s growth. Fine traditions of ROCAR include finding lively figures and deeds by reaching the grassroots level, spreading positive energy through vivid stories, and carrying forward the striving sprit. In September, the preliminary reading match of Most Beautiful ROCARer was held by ROCAR. Nine excellent contestants were shortlisted for the final. They have become new envoys of culture, enabling exciting stories to walk into your heart and motivating you to work hard. In the final match, 9 players told 9 fascinating stories respectively.
Zhang Zhengye made a remark on the releasing ceremony and the final reading match. He mentioned, over the past 13 years’ journey of ROCAR, cadres and staff have made unremitting efforts, not only achieving the rapid development of company scale and operation results , but also developing corporate culture characterized with ROCAR. The corporate culture concept system released today has been summarized based on the practice, resource basis and industry positioning, reflecting the morale and values of ROCARers. For new corporate culture concepts of ROCAR, Zhang Zhengye proposed four requirements.
Firstly, corporate culture originates from history and need to deeply merge with the current circumstance.
Secondly, corporate culture need to be deeply integrated with company strategies.
Thirdly, corporate culture need to be deeply integrated with organizational improvement.
Fourthly, corporate culture need to be deeply integrated with brand building.

Liu Yi said, hard time calls for strong spirit to underpin the development of our company. Especially, the Critical Minority and Leaders must play the leading role and take on responsibilities actively. They must attach high importance to, have unified understanding of and take initiative in taking the lead and overcoming difficulties.
Liu Yi proposed three requirements for the Critical Minority of ROCAR in terms of corporate culture building and cadre management.
Firstly, truly believe in our culture, take real actions and give impetus to the practice of corporate culture.
Secondly, free our minds and be problem-oriented to build the market competitiveness of ROCAR.
Thirdly, deepen integration and innovation. Make breakthroughs to build corporate culture into the largest competitiveness of ROCAR in the market.
Lastly, Liu Yi pointed out, we must make a sound plan of the whole year, stay confident, and make real efforts. We will never give up and must complete targets of this year.
